Ron Heller – Senior Director

Heller has been an investment banker for 20 years, the last 15 focused on M&A and private placements for technology companies.

Prior to joining Newforth in 2003, Heller was a Director in the Equity Private Placements Group of Credit Suisse First Boston's Technology Group, where he raised more than $1.5 billion for 18 technology companies in the U.S., Asia and Europe, including Zhone Technologies, China NetCom, Sanctum, Eachnet, Interwoven, OmniSky, QXL, and Lucent Digital Radio.

Before Credit Suisse, Heller worked in investment banking with Houlihan Lokey, Venturi & Company, and Frost & Berman in the San Francisco Bay Area. Heller began his finance career at Smith Barney in Corporate Finance from 1985 to 1990 in New York, London and San Francisco.

Heller has also worked as a strategy consultant for Bain and Company, and in finance and operations with NuMarket Communications, a private cable TV and telephone services provider.

Ron has a BA degree in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard's Graduate School of Business.
